North West Disability Arts Forum [NWDAF] - a leading Disability Arts Development Agency, based in Liverpool and working throughout the northwest region of England, increasingly nationally and internationally. All board members are self-disclosing Disabled or Deaf people, as are most staff members. NWDAF works with many leading arts organisations and agencies concerned with the promotion of equal access to Disabled people from arts learning to audience development and programming. But, most importantly at its heart is the ‘grass roots’ work by engaging directly with Disabled artists and communities to ensure every aspect of delivery reflects the wants and needs of Disabled people.

The East Side Institute - an international training and research center for new approaches to human development and community building.

Performing the World - Performing the World is an international community of people who recognize performance as a powerful developmental activity for social-cultural transformation. Open to all -- performers, educators, artists, scholars, therapists, health and helping professions, business professionals, youth workers, activists, community organizers -- it's a community for sharing, creating and collaborating.

National Disability Arts Forum - Established in 1991 and based in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, the National Disability Arts Forum aims to create equality of opportunity for disabled people in all aspects of the arts.
It does this by:

  • Supporting the development of Disability Arts Agencies, both regional and local throughout the UK
  • Maintaining and developing a network through which these Agencies can support and assist each others development
  • Establishing favourable conditions within which disabled people can explore and express the condition of disability through the arts
  • Promoting the value of art by disabled people.
